Our Partners
The San Joaquin Pride Center is proud to partner with and/or support the following organizations who are committed to offering services for our community.
Stockton Transgender Alliance
Stockton Transgender Alliance was founded in February 2009 to support gender non-conforming people whether they identify as transgender, transsexual, gender queer, or MTF, FTM, and any other chosen expression that enables them to better understand who they are. We serve the Stockton and San Joaquin County area, reaching out to families and friends of gender variant children, and networking with individuals and groups that are allies to the transgender community.
We sponsor Stockton's annual Transgender Day of Remembrance each year on the Sunday closest to November 20. We are proud to be allied with the San Joaquin Pride Center and to have the support of several local area churches, businesses, political groups and social service organizations. Our secondary purpose is to educate the public about the issues that impact the transgender community of the Central Valley and northern California. All are welcome! Meetings are the second Thursday each month starting at 7:oo pm at the San Joaquin Pride Center. For additional information or directions contact Elena Kelly at (209) 649-0396.

Project Powerful
Free legal assistance for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in rural California. For decades, CRLA has advocated for justice on behalf of the rural poor in California, regardless of the source of the threat or injustice. CRLA attorneys and staff members fight to safeguard the basic human rights that often hit low-income people the hardest, ensuring that all individuals feel safe in their own communities, without fear of harassment or discrimination.
